Meet
Dr. Josh Ambeau PT, DPT

Dr. Josh Ambeau was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and has always had a passion for sports and athletics. He played collegiate football at Ave Maria University where he earned a degree in Exercise Science and developed a strong understanding of Olympic lifting patterns. It was through several injuries sustained playing football that forged his passion for the rehabilitation world.

Following his undergraduate training, he went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. During his time at URI, he was fortunate enough to serve as a graduate assistant for the Principles in Human Anatomy course at Oxford University in England. His love for anatomy and biomechanics drives his treatment style to help leverage his patients' own bodies to maximize their function.
He has spent his entire career in outpatient orthopedics, which included time as a clinic director. His treatment style utilizes a combination of functional movement patterns and manual techniques, including dry needling, cupping, and IASTM. He specializes in treating lower extremity injuries, especially foot, ankle, and hip pathologies. He is also a passionate runner and enjoys working with fellow athletes.
Dr. Josh strongly believes in treating the whole person with a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach. He founded Physio360 on this principle to provide a higher level of care to his patients than is typically afforded by other physical therapy models.
